Botox and Basal Cell Carcinoma

Come in for botox, leave with a biopsy for a basal cell carcinoma. You have to zoom to catch it! This was just the most awesome patient. IT’S A SUNNY DAY. (PIC OF GIGI MEME: When your staff and patients come back after the weekend sunburned)

Protect your skin extra today guys! The whole 9 yards: sunprotective clothing, SPF 40 or greater, hats, shade.

On average, a person’s risk for melanoma doubles if they have had more than five sunburns, but just one blistering sunburn in childhood or adolescence more than doubles a person’s chances of developing melanoma later in life.
